JMJ celebrates 35 years of Making the Impossible Possible
Global culture transformation consulting firm reaches a significant milestone.
Global culture transformation consulting firm reaches a significant milestone.
This month, JMJ is celebrating its 35th anniversary. We’ve come a long way since 1987 when, on a houseboat in Sausalito Bay, California, founders Jay Greenspan, Mike Goddu, and Joseph Friedman had the idea to start a consulting business. With some visionary ideas and a little seed money from Jay’s Mom, JMJ was born.
Over the years, thanks to the commitment of our people and our clients, JMJ has become a global leader in culture transformation consulting. We’ve built enduring partnerships with some of the world’s most recognized organizations and had the honor of working on many iconic projects.
Today, supported by our major shareholder, 3i Investments, we continue to focus on creating a future where safety and sustainability go hand in hand with performance improvement, one where every worker goes home safely every day. The advent of new technologies has helped us evolve the way we do things. The launch of the JMJ Transformation Cloud™ will strengthen our existing Incident and Injury-Free™ and High-Performance Project™ methodologies with a scientific approach to setting, achieving, and measuring transformation goals.
As we look forward to the next 35 years, we’d like to thank our founders (Jay and Mike are still very much a part of JMJ), clients, investors, and the many ‘JMJers’ past and present. Their determination that injuries and fatalities are not just the “cost of doing business” has inspired our success.
