JMJ was honored to speak at the AFPM annual meeting which took place March 12 in Grapevine, Texas. The event brought together leaders from refining businesses, technology providers, contracting and consulting firms, and equipment manufacturers to discuss energy markets against an evolving national and geopolitical landscape.
Our representatives, Alan Palmer, Jennifer McKeon, Ian Hedding, Rahul Verma and Andy Ellis were excited to be part of a well-organized event attended by executives from leading companies worldwide. The conference offered private meeting spaces, networking events and the opportunity to gain insights on critical matters such as politics, economics and environmental issues.
Alan Palmer was delighted to take the stage alongside Jennifer McKeon and CITGO’s Sterling Neblett to discuss, ‘The Next Generation of Workplace Safety.’ This was a great platform for JMJ to position our vision and the foundational safety science of IIF NextGen, including psychological safety, human performance principles and the characteristics of effective leadership.
Jennifer McKeon brought practical examples to the discussion, sharing ways on integrating safety narratives and learning into the fabric of organizational practices.
The session sparked a lively exchange among participants about their realizations, reflections and positive actions they could take away.
We would like to thank AFPM for an extremely well-organized, high-quality event and look forward to joining you again in 2025.
