Get In TouchVikas Gora has been associated with JMJ for seven years. His 25 year career encompasses teaching and coaching leaders as well as creating, producing, implementing, and facilitating programs, courses and workshops on both local and global scale. He has international experience in high performance leadership, transformational management, safety excellence, leadership coaching, human rights and international development, across various sectors, including energy, power, infrastructure, manufacturing, U.N., government and the philanthropic sectors. He is a passionate leader, dynamic executive, proven educator and facilitator, creative problem solver, inspiring change agent, skilled communicator, and supportive team builder.
Among his notable consulting roles, Vikas has contributed to offshore projects such North Oil Company (NOC) and Maersk Oil, Qatar and BG Shell, India. Onshore projects of Qatar Gas, Jetty Boil Off, Laffan Refinery, Japanese Gas Corporation – Barzan Project, Chevron Tengiz Expansion Project- Fluor Daniel, India, Chevron Bibiyana Project, Bangladesh, Shell Pearl GTL, Qatar, NKOM, Qatar, Waste Water Recycling Project, Qatar and ZADCO Abu Dhabi.
Vikas’s academic achievements include a master’s degree in social work (industrial relations and personnel management), Master of International Studies from The University of Queensland, Australia, and diplomas in diplomacy and development from the University of Trento, Italy and St. Francis Xavier University, Canada. Notably, he was awarded the prestigious Rotary World Peace Fellowship from The Rotary Foundation, USA for his Masters in Australia and UNESCO Fellowship for a diploma in Italy. He received awards from The House of Common, Canada and outstanding Rotary Peace Fellow.
Beyond his career, Vikas is actively engaged in the child rights movement in India, especially working in the fields of child and school safety, disaster and emergency management. He is associated with a grassroots child-centred development NGO, Arthik Samata Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, India.
