Austin, Texas, April 12, 2022 – JMJ, a global cultural transformation consulting firm specializing in safety, sustainability, and business performance, today announced the acquisition of the assets of Columbus, Ohio based talent analytics software platform, Labor Genome.
Labor Genome provides a developmental assessment technology platform based on a proprietary algorithm called the Development Quotient (DEV:Q) that is used to identify, analyze, and align workers from various industries to job roles, teams and companies. This algorithm can pinpoint a person’s perspective on work as it relates to their decision making, relationships, personal motivation and working style. Over the last 10 years, Labor Genome has been used by organizations around the world to assess executives, managers, supervisors and front-line workers on key cultural dynamics. The DEV:Q algorithm and software is integral to JMJ’s Transformation Cloud cultural analytics platform, a suite of assessment, learning and coaching tools that will help scale the cultural transformation practice JMJ is internationally renowned for.
“JMJ will soon be launching the Transformation Cloud – a suite of technology tools and services designed to bring transformation into the digital realm. We are excited to add Labor Genome’s groundbreaking DEV:Q algorithm to those tools,” said Will Burrus, Chief Technology Officer at JMJ.
JMJ’s Transformation Cloud will provide data-driven insights to help organizations embarking on cultural transformation initiatives identify potential barriers, accurately assess current perspectives and align their teams and leaders to ultimately develop a ‘one team’ approach.
Jeff Williams, CEO of JMJ said, “Building on more than three decades of transformational work, the acquisition of Labor Genome and the DEV:Q algorithm will enable our clients to quantify the cultural alignment of teams and organizations as it relates to safety, sustainability and performance. I believe this will be a game-changer in the field of cultural transformation.”
Labor Genome has developed an objective approach to identifying work performance potential. Using data generated from its development quotient algorithm and DEV:Q Score.
