Wahab has over 25 years’ consulting and coaching experience. He has a track record for helping clients transform leadership and safety, and has worked in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Before joining JMJ, Wahab advised major oil & gas companies including Shell, Exxon Mobil, Singapore Refinery Company, Dolphin Energy, Prosafe Production and Petro Vietnam Drilling.co, on leadership and HSE culture change. He has also worked with major construction companies such as JGC Middle East (Qatar), Samsung Corporation (Korea) and Holcim (Vietnam), helping design and implement health and safety programs aimed at eliminating workplace incidents and injuries. He has facilitated thousands of HSE and leadership workshops including NEBOSH courses.

Wahab holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering management. He is registered as a professional health, safety and environmental officer (Singapore), a certified coach, and a safety director with the World Safety Organization (USA).

Wahab currently resides in Singapore with his family. He is fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indonesia and is currently learning Arabic. Outside of work, he is active in sports and enjoys playing futsal, snooker. He also plays the guitar.
